ROAD CLOSURES

The City of Starbase posts Highway 4 and Boca Chica Beach closure orders for every launch and test.

AIRSPACE

The FAA publishes a temporary flight restriction over the pad before a launch window opens.

WATERWAY

Offshore hazard areas and marine safety notices, published by the U.S. Coast Guard.

SpaceX is targeting no earlier than (NET) October 19. The exact launch window isn’t set yet. As soon as it is, we post it here and email ticket holders first. Starship changes its plans frequently, so don’t book rigid travel around a single day.

Your ticket covers every launch attempt for Flight 15, so if an attempt scrubs you can come back for the next one. In case of a scrub, you can purchase $20 Scrub Insurance on site for each additional launch attempt, which helps cover the shuttle bus. Scrubs often recycle within days, and we’ll tell you the new date right away.

Arrive at the Ranch the evening before. Around 6 PM you can drive to the Outpost to drop off gear (then bring your car back — no parking on Tarpon); shuttles run Ranch ↔ Outpost all night from about 9 PM, and official registration is 3–6 AM. Don’t wait for the last shuttle.

No — no personal vehicles at the Outpost. Your car stays at the Campground and every guest rides our shuttle. It keeps the site quiet and the road clear during the count.

Capacity at the Outpost is limited and previous flights have sold out. If tickets are still for sale, we have space for you!

Yes — every guest needs a ticket ($40 for age 17 and under) and a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Kids ride the shuttle and watch with you.

Yes. We open the week of each launch — buy an extended 4-night vehicle/camping pass when you arrive, or add glamping tents as available.

No. Rocket Ranch is an independent, privately owned viewing site and campground. We don’t control the schedule, but will be one of the first to let you know what it is.
